Evidence-Based Approach to Creating a Human-Centered Acute Care Patient Headwall.
An interdisciplinary design-research-care provider team conceived, systematically evaluated and refined a new head-wall as apart of an overall patient room prototyping project for Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) and NXT. The collaborative team included faculty and students in Architecture + Health, Fine Arts and Industrial Design from Clemson University and Carleton University working with clinician, administrators and support from SRHS.
